Simply Sophisticated Events had the privilege of being a part of Kimberly and Ryan’s October 2009 wedding. Their vision of sophisticated chic was evident throughout the day, down to the very smallest of details.

The ceremony and reception took place in the same location, the Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Pavilion, found within the Art Gallery of Hamilton. Overlooking the Irving Zucker Sculpture Garden, the late afternoon ceremony emanated romance, as the sun glinted off of the crystal and rose adorned trees. We don’t think there was a dry eye in the audience as Kimberly walked down the aisle, strewn with rose petals!

The reception was a glitzy, though classy affair, incorporating many personalized touches. Around the beautifully decorated room, you could find pictures of the bride and groom, hang your best wishes on their wish tree, and help yourself to some of the couples’ favourite candy.

The couple’s colours of charcoal and watermelon pink were found in all elements of the room’s décor, from the centerpieces, to the table linens, and even including the lounge area set up for the guests to relax in after the meal was over.
The day went off without a hitch, and everyone had an amazing time – including us!
