All Decked Out for the Holidays

Between holiday parties, Christmas gatherings, and New Year's Eve celebrations, there are plenty of excuses to get all decked out this holiday season. This is the perfect opportunity for you to try something a little more creative and glamorous.

I'm all about gold-toned sequins and shimmer this year, and wanted to share some of my favourite looks with you. Hopefully they will inspire you and help solve the never-ending "what should I wear" dilemma.

Holiday Look - Romantic Elegance

I'm all about pairing high - low pieces together, especially for "one-time" outfits. For example, why not pair a blazer from Banana Republic with a tank from TopShop, a skirt from ASOS with accessories from Forever 21, and finish off with a pair of Nine West shoes. This way you can invest in more classic pieces that you can keep in your closet for years and spend less on more trendy seasonal items.

Cheers!

DIY Halloween Decor

Don't you just love Fall? As soon as September hits I'm dreaming about the colourful leaves, chunky sweaters, apple picking, Thanksgiving, and of course Halloween. Generally when you think of Halloween, images of scary creatures and gory stories come to mind. But just because Halloween lends itself to all things spooky and gruesome doesn't mean your décor has to follow suit. Here are some chic DIY Halloween décor ideas that you can do on your own or with your family.

'Tis the Season to be Jolly!

Here are some drool-worthy Christmas party decor ideas that I just had to share with you all. One of the reasons why I love this time of year so much is the ways in which people come together, celebrate, and spread happiness and joy. You can't help but feel the love as friends and family gather over the holiday season. I hope you enjoy this collection of festive entertaining ideas as much as I enjoyed putting them together.

Inspired Wrapping

With Christmas only 49 days away (so excited!), I've been thinking of unique gift wrapping ideas. I love beautifully wrapped packages, and often think that the invention of the gift bag is one of the worst ideas yet. Yes, I know, they are perfect for those oddly shapped gifts, or presents that do not come with a box, but it saddens me to think that people just don't take the time to "wrap" their presents nowadays.

Anyways, here are some pictures of beautiful gifts that I hope will inspire each of you to get creative this coming holiday season.

Vampire Candy Apples

I would have to say that Vampires are definitely my "monster of choice." I'm an avid fan of all the vampire-themed tv shows currently on, and the movie, Dracula, is about as scary as I can take. So when I came found this post on the blog, Erica's Sweet Tooth, I thought it would be a perfect fun Friday feature.
